All of our Test & Tag operations comply with Australian Standards AS/NZS 3760 & AS/NSZ 3012. The 3760 standard encompasses all test and tag regulations nation-wide. AS/NSZ 3012 relates to specific standards for test and tagging construction, demolition, marine and mining sites. It’s important to know what standard affects your operations to ensure the safety and integrity of your business.
Test & Tag Cycles in Dalyellup Western Australia
There are four common cycles that each business will fall into;
- Quarterly (Construction/Mining etc. every 3 months) Remember RuGBY – Red Green Blue Yellow
- Bi-annually (Factories/Warehouses/Production etc. every 6 months)
- Annually (An environment where the equipment/supply cord is prone to flexing or open to abuse – every 12 months)
- 5 yearly (An environment where the equipment/supply cord is NOT prone to flexing or open to abuse)
- Safestart Test & Tag has the most up-to-date training and the most advanced PAT (Portable Appliance Tester) equipment.
Once your equipment has been tested & tagged, you will receive a certificate of compliance for your records and a “Failed Items” list if any plug-in equipment were found to be sub-standard.
We have liability insurance ($10M), indemnity insurance, are fully independent, and local to the area (we live in Bunbury).
