Testing

Testing of the fire hose reels at the workplace must be carried out to make sure there is no debris or foreign materials which may prevent the flow of water. The next phase of the fire hose reel testing process is then started. This entails pumping water through the reel to test it. The water flowing through it is measured and if it falls within the specifications for workplace safety in Australia, then it is declared safe.
