Fire Blankets

Fire Blankets help contain and snuff out Class F fires, allowing for lives to be saved and damage to be minimized. They are a necessary safety item for a kitchen and should be kept in an easily accessible place in or near the kitchen. They are particularly effective to deal with clothing or liquid fires.

Fire blanket testing and fire extinguisher testing are necessary and specified under AS/NZ 1851. Safestart’s trained and experienced technicians carry out testing according to the specifications and help you ensure that everything is in perfect working order, and in the right place, so if the time comes, you are ready. If a fire blanket is worn out or non-compliant, we carry many spares on-board, so we will replace for you and always communicate any changes in fire equipment before going ahead.
